Nice weather for a beanie!

Hey everybody! This is the newest project that I have done its a beanie for my daddy! I had to do 2 because the first one was a little too short, but he has tried this one on and it is perfect! Yay! Which is good, unfortunately we are going on holiday to greece, turkey, romainia, bulgaria and ukraine, so he wont need it
until we come back at least! How annoying allthough it only took me about 5 hours I reckon to complete this particular project. Anyway see u soon and enjoy!

Lots of pictures!

Hey everybody!
I do have lots of pictures to show you all today the first picture is of 2 new patterns that I got from a large craft store and they were heavily discounted! The one on top was 19p and the one underneath was 29p which from £1.99 is a really good deal I think any way!
This is the pattern that I am working from at the moment (which my progress of this pattern can be seen below). This isn't a very good photo but I hope that it shows its difficulty! the next step is another sleeve and the collar then the button band type thing. The picture show it in a blue colouration but I have used a colour called purple haze which I like mainly because purple is my favourite colour. The wool used is Sirdar YO YO and comes in massive 400g balls and you need only 2 balls to make this particular garment and only 1 to make most jumpers.
This picture is of the back of the garment which I completed first unfortunately the camera (or the operator of the camera), has cut off the bottom of it which is in a perfect 2x2 rib. The rest of the back is in stocking stitch.
This picture shows the first sleeve, the left and right front they all have the 2x2 rib followed by a stocking stitch body. I haven't blocked any of the pieces yet so they look slightly misshapen, (I don't know if that is the correct spelling), at the moment. I think this photo is a good representation of the colorway of the yarn and this is why I chose it, plus the fact that it is very soft wool and I think it would feel nice against my skin.
The last picture here is of some t-shirt yarn that I made here is the website that I used to show me how. I can recommend the technique used as you can see it was very successful. http://www.sustainlane.com/reviews/how-to-recycle-t-shirts-into-yarn/A48NT3FSZAANIR1HNU9TQPLH2C9O
For the yarn I used my mums old t-shirts and a couple of my dads I have no idea what to make with them my mum suggested a beach bag but I don't know I suppose they are quite beachy colours blue/ green / white. Any way what do you suggest?

Download fest

Hey I'm here at download festival and loving every minute at this very second I'm watching pendulum who are amazing yesterday was pretty good too with the likes of limp bizkit, stained, billy tallent, killswitch engage and lacuna coil. Its an amazing feeling when hundreds of people come together who just dont give a flying fuck. Who u are? where u come from? What u look like? It don't mean a thing lots of people like the word butscratchers tho, I dont quite understand that but never mind! I don't think I will be here on sunday 'cos the bands are a bit rubbish and more for the older crowd. I am here with my sister because my parents wouldn't let me go on my own although they don't have anything to worry about as everyone here is really friendly, and drunk lol. Loads and loads of cannabis smoking tho don't worry I haven't joined them it smells disgusting!

Regrets and bad decisions.

With the beginning of my uni course coming closer I have been thinking about my choices regarding my A-levels. When I did so I chose my subjects because I thought I wanted to be a solicitor. I changed my mind because of how competitive it is and I didn't think I could suceed. I was expected to get 2 B's and a C at least. I was on track for this getting C's in every exam up until the last 2 of each subject. At this point I had signed up for buisness management, which only required me to get a B and 2 C's, I had to get the B because I had failed dismally at history getting a U despite my teachers best efforts to cheat at our coursework with us. In the January of my last year I had gotten an E in one of my exams I requested help from my teacher who just happened to be the Head master. Help which I didn't recive because he didn't care too busy making a name for himself in the local rag. This being parr for the course, a prime example of which was during a mock exam, he left us to have his picture taken to boast about new facilities that the school had just gained. Worthless if u can't even get a middle class girl to get better than a D! I can see him smirking now!
The assistant head was no better teaching a subject he hadn't even completed a degree in. His lessons were a complete waste of time. How can giving me a wadge of paper you printed off the internet ever be considered teaching? Also a D although I was lucky in both cases not to get worse. The final D was not the teachers fault as I had under his guidance gotten an A in one of my exams
the only reason I got a D was my complete and utter loss of self asteem and belief in my self due to the other bad teaching. The result of this? I am hoping myself to be a teacher of sociology in 4 years time I will be fully qualified and trying in vain to stop this circle of bad teaching in the pursuit of a good school image.

Hey everybody! I hope this turns out ok these pictures are from the Birmingham Pride celebrations there arent that many of them 'cos I only had my phone and I didn't think that I would be doing this on my phone but here I am! Any way a great time was had by all and there were performances by the Birmingham Gay Symphony orchestra and the Rainbow voices team. There were floats from all major people like the fire service, police, national grid and even Tony and Guy studios who gave out a free condom, lubricant and a money off voucher for a colouring sesion! An amazing giveaway! My next post will contain a couple of pictures of my cardigan/ coat thing that i am doing but I havent finnished it yet so a bit of imagination will have to be used! T.T.F.N

Some actual tom foolery!

Hey everybody!
On the 23rd of may (I think), I went to the Birmingham pride parade! yay always good for some fun. I do have pictures but there on my new phone and I'm still working it out lol. Its good to see every one out to support gay rights even though gay couples now have much the same rights as heterosexual couples many people believe that there is still alot of bad feeling and anti gay rhetoric about, especially form the likes of the BNP which I will of course not be voting for. Even though the political parties have had alot of bad press I just don't understand how people could even consider voting for a fascist, racist, bigoted party. People are complaining that the MP's are acting in a disgusting way are the very same people who support the BNP who have been quoted as saying they agree with the Nazi party and say that the holocaust was right or just simply didn't exist!

Any way for my folowers possibly some bad news I'm knitting a jumer /coat thing and it will take a while. So my posts may not contain much knitting until its finnished although I have done a couple more flowers that look really nice and I will try and get them on as soon as possible.
I will also try to get some pictures of pride! I think I may knit a pride themed bag with the colours (purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and finally red)

till next post!

Revised beret or just revising?

Hey! This is my second slightly more beret like beret. Its a little larger than anticipated and I'm still having problems getting to grips with the pattern 'cos I can't seem to get it right with the wool choice more than anything. However, I am happy with this one and so I think I will stick with it until I can either find the exact wool that the creator of the pattern has used, or devise my own better one. Although this doesn't follow the pattern exactly because I had to cast on more stitches than the pattern calls for because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to move the wool around the needles lol!

I have sat an exam last Tuesday and will be sitting an exam on Monday the 18Th which will be my last ever A-level exam!!! Which also means that I will never be a student in high school again! I'm quite exited and scared at the moment about what the future holds for the next 4 months any way I guess not much because I still haven't found a job and I'm just worried I will get very bored which will mean I may get quite depressed which is what happened last time I had a huge break in my education. I wont start knitting again until after my exam on Monday and I have promised that when I get to uni in September I will send my class at school a post card because most of them will be doing the A2 course! I wish them all well in their future!
